Ken Kutaragi has promised an “AV-centric PS3.” So instead of buying a PS3 for gaming, it would be for enhanced audio and graphics capabilities instead. Speculation around the announcement is guessing at an expected price tag of about $2,500. The new PS3 would include a “power supply unit, anti-shake insulator, twice the main memory, and 2x HDMI.
I think this is about the most retarded thing I have heard all day. Nobody even wants to buy the PS3, and there are actually more out there than people want. The demand is low and the supply is getting higher. What is the point of putting out an even more powerful and expensive Playstation that doesn’t even play games? It’s like there is way too much power and not enough equipment or games to use it with. I hope this causes Sony a huge blow. Not bankruptcy or anything serious like that, because I love Sony products besides the Playsation. They went from owning the game console market to being the least popular next-gen system currently.
